What would motivate disengaged young people to take part in a 54-question survey? Knowing Harry Styles had to do it too. Thanks to strategic and chronically-online planning (on practically zero budget) our Census campaign became a cultural moment in history, with hordes of young people stating they participated in the NZ Census because of Harry Styles. Even better, my inner fan girl and I were there to witness the historic moment in person.
